Sunder Nursery

Sunder Nursery
Timings: 7am-6pm (All Days) while nursery and Bonzai house close at 4pm daily and both remain closed on Sunday.
This 16th-century park was formerly called Azim Bagh. It's located opposite the Humayun's Tomb and half a kilometre east of the Nizamuddin dargah. It has many Mughal period monuments. It's spread over 70 acres and 10 acres of it is now Sunder Nursery. It has a Children's Park, Gardens, Monuments, Bonzai House, Nursery, restaurant, lakes, fountains, forest area, Amphitheatre for events etc.

Nehru Park
This park is located in the posh colony named Chanakyapuri which is the home of most of the embassies and their staff. It doesn't have any monument, tomb etc., unlike Lodhi Garden.

Deer Park
This park is located in Hauz Khas Village which is another popular area for tourists. The park hosts deer and rabbits in an enclosure which offers an amusing experience for kids and adults alike. It also has a multi-cuisine Park Balluchi Restaurant on its premises which is a great place to have lunch/dinner with the family and friends.

Children's Park
Timings : Summer : 9:30 am - 7:30 pm, Winter : 9:30 am - 5:30 pm (Mondays Closed)
It's a popular amusement park located at the backside of India Gate.

Lodhi Gardens
This is a huge park with tombs unlike Nehru Park. It's a great place to spend time with your family, friends and lover. Many species of birds can also be spotted here which makes it a wonderful place for bird lovers too. It also houses Lodi – The Garden Restaurant which is buzzing place for food lovers in that part of the city.

India Gate Lawns
Evening / Night life is very alive and kicking at India Gate. The place is full of cars, scooters, motorcycles parked around. You will see people of all ages with their families and friends just having a good time chatting, walking, sitting, eating, boat riding, playing with balls, Frisbees, playing cards...in short, just chilling out.

Mughal Garden ( Opens for few weeks in February and March )
This garden is located on the premises of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. It has 250 types of roses which make it the best rose garden in the world. The evergreen fragrant shrubs and creepers which are planted along the terrace wall are Raat ki Rani, Mogra, Motiy, Juhi, Bignenia Vanista ( Golden Showers ), Gardenia, Rhyncospermum, Petrea, Harshringar, Bougainvillea, Adenocalymma( Garlic Creeper ), Hedera Helix, Climbing Roses, Tecoma Grandiflora, The Rangoon Creeper. Japanese Park (Swarna Jayanti Park)
Timings : 5:00 am - 8:00 pm
This park is located in Rohini and spread over 100 acres.
Highlights: ducks park, children park, open gym, jogging tracks, scrapped plane etc.
What's Special: You won't see ducks and scrapped plane in most of the other parks in Delhi.

Garden of Five Senses
Garden of The Five Senses is a 20-acre site inaugurated in the year 2003 and located in Said-Ul-Azaib village which is near Mehrauli Heritage Area. This is a lush green garden developed by Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation.

Indraprastha Park
This 3 Km long Park is located on the outer Ring Road at the intersection of National Highway 24. It's a new park which has become popular in a very short time.

Yamuna Biodiversity Park
This park is spread over an area of approximately 457 acres near Wazirabad village on the flat alluvial plains of the Yamuna.
Timings: 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

National Zoological Park (NZP)
It is spread over 240 acres of land. There are more than a thousand creatures and around 200 species at this zoo. The animals here are from different parts of the world.

This park is located in Connaught Place and Metro Station is underneath it. It's filled with working people from CP and nearby areas other than a huge number of shoppers and tourists.

Buddha Jayanti Park
Buddha Jayanti Park was created on the occasion of the 2500th anniversary of Gautama the Buddha and Buddha Jayanti is celebrated here in the month of may every year.
