The International Academy of Mohiniyattam (IAM) is a New Delhi-based cultural institution, registered on February 27, 2009, under Reg No. 856, dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of Indian classical arts with special emphasis on the traditional art forms of Kerala. Mohiniyattam Exponent and Choreographer Guru Jayaprabha Menon is the founder and director of the academy.

IAM focuses on imparting training in Gurukula Sampradhaya and offers short-term courses in Mohiniyatam. It has organised workshops across the country to enlighten and create awareness regarding Indian Classical Dance and allied art forms among the youth of our country.

Since its fourteen years of establishment, the academy has performed at more than 500 stages in India and abroad. Most recently, the students of IAM were part of the Republic Day Parade for the years 2022 and 2023. They won the Vande Bharat competition and represented the Indian art form in Spain and Switzerland under the programme conducted by the ICCR in September 2022. Many students of IAM are also CCERT and Sangeet Natak Akademi scholarship holders. Some of them are also Doordarshan-graded artists.

Apart from imparting knowledge and creating awarness about culture, IAM believes in giving back to society by contributing towards the upliftment of the youth. Through in-house festivals like Yuva Mukulam and Swathi Thirunal Festival, the academy provides a platform to recognise budding talents and honour their craft. It helps the youth gain more confidence and encourages them to create an identity of their own.
