Event Description : We are an Art Academy (www.thearthub.in) founded in 2016 by a women entrepreneur Bhavna Minocha (www.bhavnaminocha.com) who has been curating art exhibitions since 2008. The Art Hub provides professional training in Fine Arts in a very informal environment to children & adults of all age groups. Our team of instructors are qualified BFA’s & MFA’s from the top art colleges of India & under the special art program created for each individual by the founder Bhavna Minocha, The Art Hub provides customized art classes for adults & kids of all age groups wherein, our youngest student is aged 3 years and the oldest at present is 73 years old.
Our art classes are more like an Art Therapy for most of the adult students who take out ME TIME from their busy schedule to get back the energy to go back to their lives after each art session with a zest to come back to their next rendezvous with their creative self.
Our students include busy mother’s who take classes when their children are off to school, working women & men from various professions i.e. IAS officers, Architects, Expats visiting India, Retired senior citizens etc.
Our classes for Kids are not only for them to become artists one day but good sketching & coloring is needed for diagrams and presentations in schoolwork. Our art programs for children are educational and custom designed to include Indian heritage & culture into art to keep our heritage alive amongst the young children. For example, the story of Sudama was painted in a workshop which told the story of friendship with Lord Krishna. Similarly, we do art workshops which includes topics covering Panchatantra, Jataka Tales, Folk Art etc. in a fun & entertainment environment.
We are organizing our 1st Art Exhibition on 29th September 2019 at Sri Fort Road, New Delhi titled “INDIA – THE WAY I SEE IT‘’ which will have art work prepared by our amateur students depicting India the way they see it. For example, one young student says she loves the traffic of Delhi… It keeps her company in lonely evenings when she sits near her room window & accordingly she has painted her thoughts on the canvas. Another student who is an expatriate has painted Lord Hanuman in the heaven taking calls from everyone on earth to solve their problems. Another student from Korea is awestruck with the colorful festivals of India. And similarly, we have a variety of interesting paintings related to the theme being exhibited in our academy’s Art Exhibition by our students.
We will be grateful to your organization if you could cover the art exhibition in your publication thus informing your readers about our endeavor and our commitment to our society to protect our rich heritage in our own small way through art.
We have invited honorable Minister of Education/Art & Culture (Delhi) Shri.Manish Sisodia to grace the occasion alongwith many other reputed artist like Jatin Das, Kanchan Chander etc.
