Event Description : MUSIC & TALK : Sabras - Raga Lakshan Geet

Raga Lakshan Geet will showcase Bollywood songs based on Indian ragas. The event will be presented by National Awardee Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, a prodigious musician who is reckoned as a vocalist par excellence.

The term Lakshan Geet means the semi-classical and light music based on a raga portraying the colors and mood of that particular raga. In this show, we intend to demonstrate how retro music used the eloquence of Indian ragas and their power to stimulate various emotions in the listeners.

- Raga Based Retro Bollywood songs by his disciples

Organized by : Kirana Gharana Music Academy, an academy founded by the sensational torch-bearers of Kirana Gharana to propagate the grandeur of Indian classical music and mentor the budding talent to become the icons of tomorrow. The academy received the Gurukul Bhooshna State Award by Kala Vikas Parishad in the year 2015.
