16th November - Sava Boyadzhiev Trio, 9 pm - The Sava Boyadzhiev Trio on the 16th will consist of Sava on Drums, Adhir Ghosh on guitars and Harshit Mishra on Bass. A Bulgarian drummer, percussionist, timpanist, session’s musician and educator, Sava Boyadzhiev has played the most prestigious venues and festivals in 25 countries
17th November – Aman Kartikeya Pranai, 9 pm - Aman Kartikeya Pranai is an experimental collaboration featuring Aman Mahajan on piano, Kartikeya Srivastava on drums and Pranai Gurung on guitar for a creative musical collaboration unlike any other.
18th November, Tam De Villiers Quartet, 9 pm - Tam De Villiers was born in England in 1979 and first became involved with music at the age of 4 playing the violin and then piano a few years later. Definitely not a night to be missed!
19th November, Borders, 9 pm - A quartet based out of New Delhi with musicians from around the world consisting of Lonic Sanlaville from France on the guitar; Aman Mahajan on Piano/ Keys from India; Anton Serrats on Bass from Spain and Kunal from India on drums.
20th November, Musician Mixers, 9 pm - This will be an evening of free-style jamming by popular Delhi-based musicians.
21st November, Sing More Sessions with Arjun - An electronics engineer by education, a Fulbright music scholar - Arjun Sagar Gupta the brainchild behind the “The Piano Man Jazz Club” - a first of its kind musical supper theatre and gastronomy adventure intended to start its journey in Delhi and move further to other cities, in the near future.
22nd November, Worldservice Project, 9 pm - Winners of the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award, and nominated for ‘ Young European Jazz Artist 2014’ WorldService Project are the leading specialists of Brit ‘ punk-jazz’ , two of the most alarming genre titles in the history of 20th Century music. Combined, they create an intriguing mix of Frank Zappa, Weather Report, Meshuggah and Stravinsky – all spiralling around in a Monty Python universe.
23rd November – Hely, 9 pm - HELY (Lucca Fries, piano and Jonas Ruther, drums) from Zürich, Switzerland develops an artful interaction, which is nurtured by the deep mutual understanding of the two musicians. The intuitive proximity becomes visible in the interlocking of the instruments and a characteristic, multifaceted Hely-Sound. It encompasses virulent rhythmic flows and euphoric improvisation, echoes of minimalism and intensifying staccati, powerful dynamics and a trance-like atmosphere.
24th November – Malika Tirolien, 9 pm - The talented singer from Guadeloupe, writes, composes and performs her urban music infused in afro-Caribbean jazz since2007.This member of Montreal’s own Kalmunity Vibe Collective, has been shinning bright since her explosive collaboration with Grammy Winnerband Snarky Puppyon the album/DVD Family Dinner Vol. 1in 2013.
25th November, Yuichiro Tokuda – Ralyzzdig, 9 pm - After studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, He returned to Japan and formed his band "Yuichiro Tokuda RALYZZDIG", and released his first album whichwas acclaimed as" the cutting edge of the present progressive form of jazz" in Jazz Life magazine.
26th November, Kitchensink, 9 pm - Kitchensink has been performing since 2013 and has steadily gained the reputation of being a refreshingly original and sought-after voice in the burgeoning independent music circuit of New Delhi, India. Featuring some of the finest session-musicians in the city, the band was a result of jam sessions in which bassist Jayant Manchanda, drummer Siddharth Jain and pianist Rohit Gupta were introduced to sketches of melodies and lyrics co-written by guitarist Adhir Ghosh and vocalist (and lyricist) Smiti Malik.
