MARMIK PREMCHAND consists of the master story-teller's two classic stories PANCH PARMESHWAR and BETON WALI VIDHWA. Narrated in a touching, emotional and witty manner, these stories are rooted in the core of our Indian society. Directed by the renowned thespian Ravi Raj Sagar, whose previous plays include the highly popular Premchands Do Bailon ki Katha, Shatranj Ke Khiladi and Nimantran, the evening promises to be one of engaging entertainment with a deep message.

Ravi Raj Sagar is an eminent Theatre Director of Delhi. He is the Artistic Director of the 30-year old amateur drama group Dramatech.
He has directed several musicals and straight plays, both in Hindi and in English. 
These include Hindi versions of Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Niggers and Witness for the Prosecution, Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories, Fiddler on the Roof (musical), Hello Dolly (musical), Arsenic and Old Lace, Premchand: Three Comedies – musical (Do Bailon ki Katha; Shatranj ke Khiladi; Nimantran).
And in English-  The Weekend Cocktail- musical (Tevye wins a Fortune; Lamb to the Slaughter; Mr Know-all), The Wizard of Oz (musical), The Dear Departed, Villa for Sale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, A Christmas Carol (musical).
Two of his plays have been included in Sahitya Kala Parishad’s Best Plays of the Year.

He regularly conducts Theatre Workshops in English and Hindi, for both adults and children, at Sri Ram Centre and Sarvodaya Enclave, New Delhi.
