Event Description : MUSIC : Songs of the Madman, featuring Bonnie Chakraborty & Rajkumar Sengupta.

Songs of the Madman is a presentation by singer and songwriter Bonnie Chakraborty.  The idea is to permeate the different layers of harmonic and melodic structures in music by de-constructing and breaking down an arrangement to the bare minimum and highlighting the more complex interpretative possibilities. This journey will transcend and touch upon genres like world folk, Indian semi-classical, baul, rock, pop, jazz and experimental styles. Bonnie will be accompanied by Rajkumar Sengupta on electric and acoustic guitars, banjo and ukelele, Ejaz Khan  on sarangi and Sarthak Pahwa on percussion.
