Lanterns Kitchen & bar brings to you Sufi Night, featuring city-based band, Jugni. This three-piece outfit, comprising lead vocalist Rohit, lead guitarist Sagar and Mohit on the guitar and backing vocals, is known for Sufi, rock and pop numbers. 

About Jugni
In the world of spiritual poetry ‘Jugni’ means the essence of life or spirit of life . It is referred to as the energy flowing through everything dynamic injecting life into everything it touches. Sufi poets devote all their love to this energy in form of the magical entity that has the powers to bring life to the most barren of lands, to bring a smile of hope in times of utter despair, to fill the world with peace and joy. 

Jugni the Band, a group of musicians and strong followers of Sufism, invoke the name of God and Gurus who are the guiding lights in our lives. Their music assimilates their gratitude towards God and Gurus, their compositions pertaining a kernel of truth portray the the eternal journey of men on a quest for musical nirvana.

The journey of the band started with each individual surrendering themselves to the emotions their music discretely bestowed upon them. That was the time when these individuals decided to grow with their music and in 2014 came together as a bandwhen Rohit (Lead Vocals), Sagar (Lead Guitar) and Mohit (Backing Vocals and Rhythm Guitar) came to a mutual understanding to work on their music which was ultimately their collective goal.Once this trio was united there was no stopping them. They came in contact with other like minded musicians and started performing at venues throughout Delhi and other parts of the country as fully seasoned band.
