Event Description : COMEDY SHOW : Curtain Call presents "Last Man Ranting" Stand-Up Comedy by Maheep Singh.

Last Man Ranting. It is a humorous look at the evolution of gender, social norms, organised religion and human species in general from the time of writing myths till the present day. The show talks about the hypocrisy inculcated into relationships in modern society, professional lives and almost all the aspects in present times and its roots or origins. A writer and humorist Maheep Singh touches on a variety of subjects in his first ever solo show. This show offers more than a common stand-up show wherein the audience can expect laughter in it's various degrees as well as food for thought. A rant by a male of the species that gives voice to what we think in our heads all the time. Funny, witty and to the point. Not a show for racists, bigots, hypocrites and misogynists. So we are expecting a full house. Did we mention sarcasm? Well, there will be lot of it.

Maheep Singh : Considered as one of the topmost standup comics in India,

Maheep is an unassuming man with plenty of stories to tell. Fortunately for us, he believes in sharing (presumably, he watched a lot of Sesame Street as a child). Singh is the kind of character that TV writers aim to pencil into their intelligent sitcoms: A mix of deadpan delivery and storytelling. He sounds a lot like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh but somehow, his sad/mundane story is hilarious. Known as 'The Gujarati Sardar' on the stand-up comedy circuit, Maheep started stand-up comedy as part of his coming-out-of-depression exercise. He had a choice between serial killing and stand-up and he chose the latter. Singh uses his personal experiences and general observations in his comedy. And all of the things he says in his stand-up are facts.
