Formed in 2007, The Raghu Dixit Project is a folk-rock band from Bangalore. The band is an eponymous venture of composer-singer-songwriter Raghu Dixit who is a self-taught guitarist. The multi-talented artist has performed all over the world. His music is strongly rooted in Indian traditions and culture and is presented with a very contemporary, global sound. The band comprises Raghu Dixit (vocals, acoustic guitar), Gaurav Vaz (bass), Bryden Lewis (guitars), Parth Chandiramani (flute) and Wilfred D'Moz (drums, percussion). Also, the band has gigged extensively across India, playing to college festivals, clubs, and well –known festivals/concerts.
