It brings together Sh. Fateh Ali (Sitar), Sh. Ahsan Ali (Sarangi) and Sh. Athar Husssain (Tabla), led by Sh. Rajesh Prasanna (Flute)

“The Classical Collective” is an eclectic & pure Hindustani Classical Quartet formed by four definite stalwarts of the Music landscape of India; spearheaded by Sh. Rajesh Prasanna. Four different pillars of the musical Families came together with their instruments to form “The Classical Collective” in 2014. This Collaboration is a result of many hours of brainstorming on bringing  together their individual taleems and performing experiences into a scintillating, riveting collaboration that would leave the audience spellbound. The performance will be marked by spontaneity, variety, innovation and a musical spark.

About HCL Concert Series: Started in 1998, the HCL Concert Series provides a platform to upcoming young Indian classical artists to express their talent. Also, as patrons of Indian culture and heritage, we have tried to nurture Indian Classical Music and Performing Arts by means of the HCL Concert Series. It is a humble effort in rekindling the interest of today’s generation in classical music and rare art forms, which are slowly fading away into oblivion.
