Ashvin Gidwani proudly presents “History of India”, performed by India’s most talented stand up comedian, Vir Das and the opening act by Kavi shastri. “History of India” is the funniest, wittiest and sensational relook at India’s history. From the cradle of civilization in Harappa, to the Vedas and the advent of the Mughal era, from the East India Company to the freedom struggle till we opened ourselves to the world in the 90’s. A show that takes you through India’s journey with just the right balance of fact and fiction. What you are going to witness may want you to rethink what you already know of this great Country. Coming to you is stories with seething wit, infinite stupidity, and periods of unadulterated laughter.
