Event Description : RædLeafPoetry-India presents 'Kinship of Rivers Meet' poetry book release by river activist Medha Patkar & members meet.
Ten Thousand Waves, Poetry by Wang Ping addresses the 21st Century ecological crisis of river beds and sinking deltas across countries. At the Kinship of Rivers meet,Ten Thousands Wave will be released by none other than river activist Medha Patkar from India. The Kinship of Rivers meet will also be a confluence of its members and several artists, poets, anthropologists, ecologists, poets and other like-minded people. The event will witness the presentation of a brand new book, based on in-depth research and commitment to save the Narmada river and the valley, written by senior journalist and artist, Shri Chinmay Mishra, titled "प्रलय से टकराते समाज और संस्कृति: सरदार सरोवर बाँध से हुए विस्थापन के संस्कृति पर पड़े प्रभावों का आकलन".
