“Science and the Deniers: Man-made Climate Change is More Real than Ever” a talk by D. Raghunandan.

The evidence is unambiguous: human-induced climate change caused by burning fossil fuels is advancing steadily. Yet, deniers backed by powerful lobbies continue to deny climate change, deliberately sowing confusion to forestall international climate action. D. Raghunandan will present and discuss the scientific evidence for anthropogenic climate change. How wide is the consensus on man-made climate change and on what is it based? What is the prognosis? Can, and will, things get better?

D. RAGHUNANDAN is an engineer and social scientist, one of the founder members of Delhi Science Forum, and currently President, All India People's Science Network. He is a long-standing and active researcher on climate change, and part of the DSF-TISS collaboration on models for climate policy and energy scenarios.
