Arpan Chakraborty, Debashish Sarkar, Gangadhar Mahato, Manoj Kumar Paswan, Suman Singha Roy,
Soumen Bhowmick, Tanoy Choudhury.
A strange and vivid amalgamation of colours and emotions splashed on paper and canvases.
A very beautiful interplay of paintings and sculptures is showcased here.
This is a group art show by young guns from different parts of India. Arpan, Tanoy and Debashish have their BFA from Indian Art College, Kolkata. Suman Singha Roy had his BFA from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. Manoj and Gangadhar had MFA from Jamia. Soumen a BFA from Collge of Art, Delhi.
Arpan Chakraborty play with his canvases to take on the life's dilemmas head-on.
Debashish Sarkar is figurative in his approach on canvas.
Tanoy Choudhury works with Kolkata as his inspiration. The city is well portrayed on his canvases. He has breathed life to the city of joy with his colours
Suman Singha Roy is enthused with Rajasthan as his muse. The forts and palaces are beautifully done in his watercolours.
Manoj Kumar Paswan is working with migration as his theme. His canvases will touch your heart with
it's sensible use of form and colours, highlighting the migration of Indians from small cities or villages to
bigger cities like Delhi.
Gangadhar Mahato is a sculptor of high esteem. Two of his fiber works carries the human challenges in this modern chaotic times. He has exhibited internationally and participated in many
international sculptor camps.
Soumen Bhowmick is showing his observation of human heads on paper. Critically analysed and portrayed with aplomb honesty. The core of this art show is to challenge the societal norms and outlook towards life in general.
