About WHIMSICAL 2 :
 Artist Tarab Khan is bringing her Dreamlike & thought provoking paintings to her second  Solo Art Show in New Delhi .
 " Whimsical 2" is about her Dreamlike paintings with a childlike curiosity & an innate  connection to the universe around .. Tarab  Khan is a Non-Conformist Artist and she doesn't acknowledge any boundaries that contain her thoughts or Imagination.  Some of her paintings are inspired by her poems . ( for details pl go through the web links provided ) 
Tarab  is a poet too. Her poems are thought provoking & at times  she has woven her poem into creating paintings . Some of her well appreciated poems are " In the continuum of Space & Time " , " War for Peace " , " In thought ", "A Piece "  & " The sky is all mine " ...

WHAT DO I PAINT ! 
When asked what do I paint? Abstract, landscape or figurative…? Sometime I feel little perplexed… How do I classify my Art…? What are the boundaries that can define my curiosity…?
When I sit back & try to relate my work or deconstruct my creations, I can conclude that I am a Non-Conformist Artist. My paintings are DREAMLIKE and Provokes Thinking. How can I be inspired by only one thought or one culture or with only one dream when there are so many different ways I feel& connect with the world around me…and so many visions of mine glancing through the brilliant kaleidoscope of this amazing universe. How can I not be evoked to write or paint when incidents happen, events like 26/11 or 9/11 & many more? How can I control myself when my fancy for flying transforms into a mermaid caught in the continuum of space & time? When I lean back and gaze into the starry nights, how can I not be overwhelmed by the vastness of the space or be smitten by the everlasting beauty of the twinkling stars…When I sit by the sea, how can my feelings be directed towards any other thought…When I sit by the sea, I listen only to the sea…
The world is mesmerizing…In spite of human miseries, among which many are mancreated, how could I still not be in awe of this universe, It’s beauty, It’s vibrance, it’s giving capacity, it’s resonance, &; the repercussions !
