When one thinks of a jewel box, one wonders what treasures will be unearthed, what memories will be evoked, what family traditions will be uncovered…
This July, the fourth edition of the Tarun Tahiliani Couture Exposition will commence with the unveiling of the “Jewel Box,” an edgy set made entirely of glass featuring the latest offerings from the Tarun Tahiliani bridal couture collection.
Reinterpreting the splendor of the age-old treasure box in a novel, modern way, the collection will be on display in this contemporary glass setting from 25th – 28th July, 2012 in New Delhi at DLF Emporio, and on 6th - 7th August, 2012 in Mumbai at Mehboob Studio.
Distinctive Indian cultural richness and unabashed modern glamour will be on view in 35 spectacular Tarun Tahiliani Couture creations. Bringing a culturally rooted, yet highly contemporary sensibility to the time honored wedding ritual, the Exposition will share the season’s newest trends, exquisite designs and jewel colors in bridal and occasion wear. Whimsical motifs and sensational colors call out to the grandeur of our past with the renewed energy of revivalist craft and contemporary construction.
