Some natural lakes, and some man made ones….
Visit holy lakes, historical lakes,
Brimming with stories if not water,
And spend a day learning to love water….
Itinerary & Places Visited
11 am: Walk starts at PVR Saket
11.30 am-12.30 pm: Surajkund Lake, just outside Delhi, 10th century
1.15 – 2.30 pm: Haus Khas Reservoir, 13th century. Lunch at Naivedyam at participant’s cost.
3.00- 3.30 pm: Sarovar at Bangla Sahib, 17th century
4 – 5 pm: Naini Lake, Model Town, 20th century
6 pm: Walk ends at PVR Saket
Background : This is an Inaugural walk as part of 1100 Walks initiative by Red Earth India.
