Event Details : Empowerment NGO presents 'Different Moods of Rajiv Gandhi' A Tribute to Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi’s Birthday. An Art Exhibition by Kumar Vikas Saxena and Sonika Agarwal and a 10 mt. long canvas painting by children.
Its aim is to spread the messages of great heroes through various socio-cultural programmes and spreads awareness of Peace and Unity.
The aim of the exhibition and canvas painting of children is to depict the accomplishments of Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi -as a policy maker, a politician, a visionary, a reformer, a secularist and a humanist. Children would visualize the vision of Rajiv Gandhi in their paintings to portray it in front of everyone. Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi chartered a new path beckoning the nation to the 21st century. His vision was of a progressive, modern India, untainted by the scourge of age-old poverty and illiteracy, retaining her cultural traditions and value and holding her head high in the comity of nations.
In future, we wish to make murals and paintings depicting Pt Nehru’s and Rajiv Gandhi’s Vision of Modern India at various public places and metro stations. These paintings and murals at public places will explore the ideals and vision of Rajivji towards his self-reliant modern India. Last year the event was graced by Shri Rajeev Shukla (M.P. Congress Party).
