Event Details : 'Expressions of Body, Mind and Soul' A solo show of Black and White perspective by Anita Chauhan.
This Black and white perspective of Anita Chauhan’s figurative contemporary art brings a creative continuum of her style and genre. They are a study of expressions of body, mind and soul on hand made paper with charcoal and water colours. ,. When you combine mind and soul with the body, the combination is capable of expressing a myriad of feelings. A woman’s body manifests itself into a thousand things and is capable of reflecting all that is humanly earthy or divinely spiritual. A woman’s expression based on personal and social interactions in her routine life is what the artist has tried to bring out in her works.
Anita’s two solo exhibitions held in 2005 and 2008 were very successful and her paintings have been admired and collected by many.
