Event Description : "Nauras: The Many Arts of the Deccan" an exhibition in collaboration with The Aesthetics Project.

The exhibition will showcase rare objects, art and crafts of Deccan sultanates, representing the cosmopolitanism of India.

It brings together around 120 artefacts including  Bijapur’s marbled al-Buraq painting, Ragamala leaves from Ahmednagar, Bijapur’s Kalamkari coverlet, Burhanpur’s 18th-century Qanat, embroidered Vijayanagara temple, Kitab-i-Nauras manuscript and Deccani copies of Ajaib al Makluqat(Book of the Wonders of the World) and armours of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
