R’jesh Bali
R’jesh Bali, an alumnus of National School of Drama, began his career as an actor, and later started working as a script-writer & director. He has, so far, conducted about 50 theatre workshops and directed 45 plays. Among plays, he has directed Ekaaant, Tamasha, Moliere, Gandhi, The Cheese Story of Spensor Johnson, Siddhartha of Hermann Hesse, Operation Jaago of Arthur Miller, Three men in a boat-house etc. He studied film (Short Term) from Film & Television Institute of India, Pune and also directed a number of short-films based on ‘Development and the common man’ and ‘Terrorism’ for television. He has scripted / translated Siddhartha, (Hermann Hesse), Vapas (52 Episodes) on Gandhiji’s experiments, Maasambaa (13 Episodes) on Environment & forests, Gandhi, Preet Ki Reet (based on rare-folk-love-stories), Moliere (Mikhail Bulgakov), The Cheese Story (Spensor Johnson, ‘Prophet’ (Kahlil Gibran), Bindass (Other work of Kahlil Gibran) …
