About Triveni Kala Sangam : It was started in 1951 in a small room above a coffee house in Connaught Place with just two students with the donation of only one hundred rupees. But today it's a self supporting non-profit art complex. It was designed by famous architect Joseph Allen Stein.
The Three Galleries are : Triveni Gallery, Shridharani Gallery, Triveni Garden Gallery
An open air theatre, a small air-conditioned chamber theatre, a sound proof recording studio, 'the Nook' with books & recorded music, a library, tea terrace, a photography unit complete with dark room & modern facilities as well as a separate section for Child-Art, and 'Prakriti' also find a place under the roof. Prakriti, has plants in aesthetically designed pots & aims at creating love for nature & our environment.
There is also Art Heritage Gallery which is in the basement. Art Heritage Gallery is managed by Theatre veteran Ebrahim Alkazi and his family.

ReplyDeletehey...I want to learn bharatnatyam...i had been learning this dance form during my school days..then due to some persnal problem my teacher had to leave school...and i was not able to complete my course...nw i am 25 and i had been dancing throughout my college life...and i believe i still can learn bharatnatyam. could ur academy help me!!
